Do passers by have the responsibility of interfering when there is trouble ?

Have you ever witnessed someone being bullied by another ? What did you do ? Bystanders have the responsibility to prevent crimes and help survivors. If bystanders do not intervene, will they be at fault? Have you ever been a bystander when someone was hurt and what did you do? In crimes like armed robbery, can you help the victim out of  trouble?

According to some countries like Canada, the "Good Samaritan" law protects you from any legal repercussions of helping an injured victim. This practise might encourage some people to help someone in need of immediate medical assistance. Some places even go as far as a "Duty to Rescue" law that requires you to help someone in need and holds you liable if you don't.

Knowing this, will you help the next victim you see being assaulted or injured ?
