Literate: For one to be considered literate, you have to be able to read and write and do simple computations. You don't need to know how to write a long essay to be considered literate, you just need to know the basics like how to write your name, simple sentences, etc. Also you should be able to read signs and comprehend their use and finally how to count money etc.
Education: it is considered better than being a literate, in this area you should know how to write essays, read and do even more complex computations. An educated person has to behave like someone who really went to school, in terms of mannerisms and the mentality of their speech.
Being educated is not just solving x and y, it is about the way we approach problems and solve them. Not everyone that goes to school is considered educated because they cannot write a good essay, neither can they write a good resume. Those people can only be considered literate.
Intelligence: Intelligence is usually linked to academics. You can be excelling in school, do things better than your peers or think in a different perspective without being literate or educated. But education enhances intelligence and being intelligent can be natural. We all have our abilities in different areas that makes us shine. There are people who are talented and capable, who do not have a formal education but may be seen as intelligent. Once you tell people things that they don't expect, they perceive you to be intelligent. Intelligence is an internal skill and ability we have naturally, while education is impacted through books, teachers etc.
