Do not over rate those in the media

    Why are Nigerian celebrities always overrated? They are normal people like us struggling to make ends met. Let me not consider celebrities alone, even those in political power like ministers, governors and all, when they travel using economy class, we complain that they are cheap and maybe don't have money to fly business class. And when they fly business class or spend lavishly we complain that they are spending the money meant to be used in developing the country. What more do we want them to do to please us? I am not of the opinion that they should spend lavishly, but they should spend the money reasonably, some times using economy class and other times business class.
They shouldn't compare themselves with the western world in terms of the need to try and impress fans or masses, but also not use that as an excuse to spend money. It's better to have a good name by standing for what you believe in and have your cut according to your size. What some people don't know is that some of these people either buy things by credit or they borrow the outfits from some of their trusted friends.
