Do celebrities get away with more crimes than the non-celebrities?

      Despite the fact that the world says every man is equal to each other and no-one is above the law. There are still people who see themselves as being above the law. The more money you have, the better chances at trial you will probably have. The rich and famous use what they have to settle out of court, payoff witnesses or even sweep the case under the rug. They get the best lawyers and are granted special treatment. Although celebrities are more watched than anyone and anything they do is publicized by mass media, for the same crime committed by both a celebrity and a non-celebrity, the celebrity will almost always get a shorter sentence with the latter getting the shorter end of the stick.


      We can see that celebrities wealth and fame lets them get lighter sentences which teaches the younger generation that when a crime is committed, all they need is fame and fortune to get away with the crime and be bailed within only a few hours of being arrested. That is why these days youths are more naive and nonchalant in committing crimes due to the chance of getting away with it. There are two kinds of famous and wealthy celebrities. The kind that are liked by the public and are sympathized with and can move on with their life as if nothing happened. And then there's the kind that are not liked by the public and if they commit an offence, the public will make sure they face justice.
