I remember when I was searching for a life partner and having watched movies, I was always eager on flights for a handsome man to come sit by my side. Instead, at the end of my daydreaming I would either see a couple or an old man sitting beside me (not that old but still not a young guy). Each time I tell my brother what I always thought of in the flight, he would say I watch too many movies which I think is right. There are times we put our minds that we desperately need to find a partner and our minds go to any man that comes our way hoping he would ask us out, not really knowing much about that person.
Back to reality... sometimes during my university days, guys would pass by me or talk to my skinny friends but never took a leap at me. *crying* Thought I was the fat one among my friends and guys would call them to chat them up but not me. They made me look down on my self, that I could not get a man that will appreciate me for who I am. So after my graduation in 2012, I was posted to Borno state for NYSC but did my camp in Benue. I made up my mind that I wasn't there to find a husband, but to enjoy myself and serve my country. Surprisingly for me, I met different men who appreciated me which made me happy with myself (yipee). I was in the taekwondo group in NYSC while my prince charming which I never knew while on camp was in the Parade group. We all had automatic redeployment and we were both redeployed to the same state and same school (isn't that lovely), where fate brought us both together.
